Terms Of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of tuflamenco.com and to any flamenco class, course, workshop, private hire or concert ticket booked with TuFlamenco (“we”, “us”, “our”), led by Inma Montero and Danielo Olivera, based in Edinburgh and operating across Scotland. By using our website, or by booking a class, course or ticket with us, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of this website

This website is provided so you can learn about our classes, courses and concerts, and make enquiries, bookings and payments. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes, and not to misuse it in any way that could damage, disable, overburden or impair it.

2. Classes, courses and workshops

  • Our academic year normally runs from September to June, split into two teaching terms, with occasional summer intensive courses.
  • A place on a course is only confirmed once payment has been received and you have received a confirmation from us.
  • Class timetables, locations and pricing may change between seasons; where possible, we will let you know in advance of any change affecting a course you are enrolled on.
  • Some classes are suitable for children (for example, Flamenkids); a parent or guardian must complete the enrolment and remains responsible for the child at drop-off and collection.
  • Places in our classes are limited, so we recommend booking early to secure your spot.

3. Concerts and Box Office tickets

  • Tickets purchased through our Box Office are confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.
  • Please arrive in good time for performances; latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break in the show, at the venue’s discretion.
  • Some events take place at external venues (for example, during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival); that venue’s own conditions of entry will also apply.
  • Photography, audio and video recording may take place during our classes and performances for promotional purposes. If you would prefer not to be included, please let us know in advance.

4. Payments

All prices on our website are shown in GBP (£) and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe; we do not store your full card details. If a price on our website is shown incorrectly because of a technical error, we reserve the right to correct it and will contact you before completing your order.

5. Cancellations and refunds

  • Classes and courses: if you need to cancel your place, please contact us as early as possible. Refunds or credit for unused sessions are considered on a case-by-case basis and are not automatic.
  • Concert tickets: tickets are non-refundable, except where an event is cancelled or rescheduled by us, in which case we will offer a refund or an exchange for the rescheduled date.
  • If we need to cancel or reschedule a class, course or concert, we will let you know as soon as possible and offer a suitable alternative, credit or refund.

6. Intellectual property

All text, images, video, choreography and other content on this website belong to TuFlamenco or are used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse this content for commercial purposes without our written consent.

7. Liability

Flamenco dance, singing and percussion classes involve physical movement. By enrolling in a class, you confirm that you are medically fit to take part, and agree to tell us about any injury, condition or concern that may affect your participation. We take reasonable care to provide a safe environment, but we are not liable for injuries arising from normal participation in physical activity, except where caused by our negligence.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland and the United Kingdom. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

9. Contact us

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, courses or legal obligations. Any updates will be posted on this page.
