2FLAMENCO premiered to great acclaim in 2023 and returned to the EdFringe in 2024 with a completely renewed format that preserved the authenticity and roots of the original concert. This production continues to offer a powerful, exquisite, and unforgettable flamenco experience.
As always, Inma Montero and Danielo Olivera, founders of TuFlamenco, infuse the performance with a fresh, elegant, and original vision of flamenco’s main styles, creating a magical and intimate atmosphere. This year, the show reaches new heights with the addition of the captivating dancer Jara Pérez, whose dynamic presence brings an exciting energy to the TuFlamenco team.
2FLAMENCO invites audiences on an uplifting and emotionally moving journey into the soul of flamenco, where guitar, singing, and dance intertwine seamlessly with humor and camaraderie. This vibrant production honors the pure roots of flamenco while offering a genuine twist, giving audiences a glimpse into its origins and its exciting future.

You have the distinct sound of the guitar and the voice that sings and whistles. Then, there is the dancer who communicates with the guitar through movement. Her expression is mesmerizing as the songs reach their crescendo. She claps and uses her whole body as an instrument. Her shoes have metal nails in the heel and toe that strike the floor, creating a rhythm to match the melody. There are also the castanets for one song. This tiny hand-held percussion instrument is so well known yet rarely encountered. All these components together create a mix of emotions ranging from melancholy to happiness to longing and desire, all at once. As I watched, I felt the emotions bubbling inside me.
