Premiered at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2008 and revived in 2021, Rumba Mágica delivered a passionate and exhilarating flamenco–Latin party, powered by TuFlamenco’s top-class musicians — all of them well-established and respected figures within the UK music scene. The production fused fiery South American melodies and rhythms with the unmistakable essence of flamenco music and dance, enriched by subtle jazz inflections. The calibre and personality of its performers filled the room with unstoppable energy, creating a truly magical atmosphere.
Audiences enjoyed a vibrant mix of flamenco guitar, double bass, piano, trumpet, Latin and flamenco percussion, expressive palmas, and powerful vocal performances. And — staying true to our artistic identity — we bring one or several flamenco & Latin dancers, making the production not only a remarkable musical experience but also a visually powerful spectacle. Their presence elevates the performance, shaping the energy onstage and unifying all musical styles into a distinctive, high-impact show.
Offered in multiple formats, the production adapted seamlessly to different venues and budgets — from an intimate singer–guitarist setup to the full seven-piece band. The principal artists included Inma Montero, Danielo Olivera, Mario Caribe, Simon Gall, Víctor M. Estévez, José Rojas, Paulo Riddle, and Daniel Martínez.
Other guest musicians and dancers have also taken part in various editions, enriching the artistic palette and keeping the show dynamic, fresh, and full of personality.
Today, Rumba Mágica has evolved into a flexible and highly adaptable project, ideal for private events, festivals, parties, and celebrations. It functions as a vibrant flamenco–Latin fiesta available for hire throughout the year. The lineup — both musicians and dancers — is fully customisable, allowing us to create tailored ensembles suited to the atmosphere, scale, and needs of each event.
