Premiering at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2022 edition, Danielo presented a truly original solo production that revealed one of his most distinctive artistic gifts: his extraordinary whistling. This intimate and unique performance blended flamenco, jazz, Latin American colours, other music styles, and the unmistakable air of Andalucía, all interpreted through Danielo’s own genuine and unrepeatable style.
For one hour, audiences were invited to escape into the sunshine and singular sunsets of Cádiz. The show brought together a flamenco singer, guitar, cajón, clapping, subtle dance gestures, and Danielo’s whistling—combining them into a rich, playful, and deeply expressive sound world. It was flamenco distilled to its purest essence: personal, soulful, and utterly captivating.
The production stood out not only for its musicality but also for its inventive use of technical elements and subtle technological layers, which added new textures to the performance without ever losing its authentic heart. It was a fresh, original concept that showcased Danielo as an artist who continually reinvents himself through dedication and perseverance.
Today, this project lives on as a hireable solo show, ideal for intimate venues, cultural events, and special occasions. In its current form, it represents Danielo in his most essential state—voice, guitar, rhythm, whistling, and creativity fused into a singular artistic experience.
